Dose in homeopathy is not about quantity.

Dose refers to the potency and frequency of the remedy — how strong it is and how often it is given. Both are adjusted to match the individual's state and response.

How dose is determined.

The frequency or strength of dose must be matched to the strength of the disease. A more vital, deeply established disease may require a different potency than a surface, recently acquired condition. A more sensitive patient may require a lower dose than a less reactive one.

The dose that cures one person may aggravate another. The only way to know is to observe the individual response carefully.

Why this cannot be standardised.

Two people with the same constitutional remedy may need it at different potencies, at different frequencies, and for different durations. Standardising dose would mean treating the disease — not the person.

Dose is monitored, observed, and adjusted at every follow-up. This is part of what makes treatment here a living process — not a fixed prescription.
